Hayley is a professional road cyclist who specialises in time trialling. She has won 2 Elite Women’s British Time Trial Championships (2016 & 2015), 15 Individual CTT National Time Trial titles and is the bronze medalist from the time trial events at both the 2019 European Games and the 2018 Commonwealth Games. In addition she holds the National Competition Records for the 10 (18.36), 25 (49.28) and 50 (1:42:20) mile time trials.
Hayley started cycling at University and became a full-time athlete on completion of her Chemistry PhD in 2016. Since then she has competed internationally with various UCI teams, as well as representing British Cycling, Team England and Team GB at major events. With a home Commonwealth Games on the horizon in 2022, Hayley is targeting a gold medal in the time trial.
