Online event: Cycling legends share training secrets

Is the Tour de France inspiring you to improve your sprint finish or increase your endurance and staying power? InfoCrank power meter is hosting a series of online events giving you the chance to get up close and personal with cycling legends and get some training tips direct from the best – Matthew Keenan, Shane Kelly and Graeme Brown host the first session.

Stalwarts of the sport, our cycling stars will let you into the secrets of life as an elite athlete – what it’s like to train and race as one of the best riders in the world. They will then share top tips and advice that you can take away and incorporate into your own training and racing.

Anything you’ve always wanted to know? The legends will be answering questions from attendees with a text box live during the event where you can submit your question.

Calling the world’s greatest cycling events, Matthew Keenan is one of the world’s most loved commentators and has established himself as Australia’s leading cycling broadcaster. He’ll be taking a short break from commentating on the Tour de France to join the event and host the discussion with the athletes.

Having competed in five Olympics with multiple silver and bronze medals to his name, Shane Kelly is one of the most well-known and highly respected Australian track cyclists of the last 25 years. He is also famously a 4-time World Champion.

And with over 16 years in the professional peloton, Olympic gold medals on the track and many a sprint victory on the road, Graeme Brown has had a long and illustrious career.

Matthew, Shane and Graeme will also be joined by Verve Cycling CEO Bryan Taylor, who will be on hand to talk about training with power, having worked with many of the world’s best to develop the InfoCrank.

The online event will take place on Monday 5 July at 7.30pm AEST. View the session and sign-up.

If you’re unable to attend on that date, enter your details on the registration page and we’ll send a recording of the event to non-attendees after the session.
